Scientist Dr. Daniel Caine conducts research on the chemical plant known as "The Corporation" and scans its databases during an evening shutdown. He discovers that The Corporation has created a hybrid plague so dangerous and fast-spreading that it can wipe out humanity in a matter of days. It intends to infect the entire planet by polluting the water supply, in order to extort billions of dollars from world governments to release the cure. After this discovery, Caine is captured by the Corporation's director and his henchmen and injected with a bright green substance that should kill him but surprisingly transforms him into a puddle of toxic slime. Filled with rage and a strange power, Caine seeks revenge on the Corporation and the director, intending to destroy them and prevent them from unleashing the plague on the planet, hoping to regain his human form at any cost.
